We the undersigned citizens of Queensland petition the Queensland government to transfer to a community trust the rail corridor and existing rail infrastrcture relative to the Mungar to Gladstone (inland route) rail line.  This infrastructure is most important as a cultural and historic link to the regions past.  It is most important that the community be allowed to access and wholly manage this community infrastructure in a manner so visitors and future generations will appreciate past endeavour, hardship, ingenuity and resilitience.  This petition is supported by members from all regional towns and communities along the corridor.
