Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the poor and unsatisfactory condition of the Flinders Highway, the state of which is causing unnecessary damage to vehicles and risking lives.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to the:

• significant reduction of culvert humps where traffic has to slow 100 km/h - to 60 km/h
• replacement of several sections particularly Richmond - Hughenden section
• greater 2013-14 budget funding for passing lanes, upgrades of lanes and shoulders
• removal of "slow down" signs (100 km/h-60km/h) just prior to culvert "humps".
