The petition of electors of the Division of Gladstone draws to the attention of the House the need to create a bus network based on areas where those dependent on public transport are able to access the buses within reasonable distance of their residences as was attained with the old timetables.  The new network is unacceptable with many pensioners unable to walk the long distances now required throughout the Gladstone and Boyne Tannum bus network. The new timetable templates are hard to follow.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to resume the old routes and timetables used by the public buses until a solution can be found.
