TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to the planned transport services under threat of stopping. Bus services under threat include 220 Wynnum to City; 225 Wynnum to Carindale; 240 Capalaba to Wynnum; 214 Cannon Hill to City (Cityexpress) and 232 Cannon Hill to City. Cuts to these services will make it difficult for people in the district wanting to access other suburbs as well as the City.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to see this planned closure stopped immediately to ensure important and reliable transport services are maintained in our community.
