TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the fact only 200 car parking spaces have been allocated for Springfield Central station. For a population of roughly 20,000 people, parking for 200 vehicles is clearly not enough and will not alleviate traffic congestion on local roads.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to immediately allocate funds to adjust the construction to allow for 500 car parking spaces.
