TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need for the Newman Government to reverse its decision to close the Wynnum Hospital and the Moreton Bay Nursing Care Unit. These important facilities have a long history of providing essential services to local residents in Wynnum–Manly and the surrounding areas.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to seek an assurance from the Government that it will not close these important health facilities.
