Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the repeated threats by the Newman LNP State Government and the LNP Attorney-General, Minister for Justice and Member for Kawana, Jarrod Bleijie MP, to close the Holland Park Courthouse.

This Courthouse has provided an essential public service to residents of Brisbane's Southside for decades.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to take all necessary action to help Save Our Services on the Southside of Brisbane and to stop the closure of the Holland Park Courthouse, which would result in the removal of important services for the local community such as the JPs in the Community Program.
