Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the 2003 Queensland Government Position Statement on Water Fluoridation, which acknowledged that forced fluoridation was unethical mass medication.  The 2008 Queensland mandatory fluoridation legislation is intended to forcibly and continually fluoridate the water supplies of nearly 4 million Queensland residents without regard to their individual wishes or health issues.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to immediately repeal the 2008 Queensland Fluoridation Act and encourage the subsequent cost savings to the government and communities be directed to improve school dental services and oral health education.
