TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that currently many unit owners who do not smoke suffer from smoke coming through their windows because of smokers on adjoining balconies and also from smoke coming from under their doors via the stairwells.


Your petitioners therefore request the House to note that the undersigned want to see legislation under the Body Corporate Act that protects non-smoking residents in unit blocks from smoke coming from adjoining units.
