TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the current practices involved in coal seam gas mining at the expense of food production, water security, the natural environment and the health of humans and animals.

 

Your petitioners therefore request the House to enforce a complete ban on hydraulic fracturing and instead harness readily available renewable energy.
