The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House of the need to provide adequate services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).  These services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and specialised aids. Often these services are restricted to specific age groups.

Your petitioners therefore request the House take the necessary steps to ensure ASD children of all ages and their families receive the funding and programs needed to have access to the support and services they desperately need.
