TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that the residents seek assurance that state and city governments will preserve the area of Alan Fletcher Research Station as green space for community use.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to call on the Queensland Government and Brisbane City Council to ensure that the Alan Fletcher Research Station in Magazine Street, Sherwood is preserved as green space and to protect this piece of river front land for community use and parkland to provide greater connectivity to the Sherwood Arboretum.
