TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of electors of the Division of Condamine draws to the attention of the House that the residents of Kingsthorpe, Goombungee and surrounding areas wish that in the interest of safety corrective measures are taken to rectify a hazardous intersection.  The intersection is located at the junction of the Warrego Highway, Kingsthorpe-Goombungee Road and Gowrie Mountain School Road.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to construct the entrance for the new Sale Yards in this location.  The infrastructure required for the Sale Yards entrance would automatically see improvements to the above mentioned roads and intersection benefiting nearby residents along with other regular users of this road section.
