TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the appalling traffic congestion on the Centenary Highway which requires smart, healthy, low pollution, sustainable transport responses to be developed in partnership with the Brisbane City Council. 

 

Your petitioners, therefore, request the government to immediately plan and publicly consult for sustainable transport solutions which will address traffic congestion in a way which minimises further harmful air and carbon pollution.
