Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the absence of formal relationship registration of same-sex or heterosexual domestic relationships, or caring relationships in the State of Queensland.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to amend the Births, Deaths and Marriages Act of 2003 to establish relationship registration guidelines that would allow for the formal registration of same-sex or heterosexual domestic relationships or of caring relationships with the State Government of Queensland.
