TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The petition of electors of the Division of Redlands draws to the attention of the House the lack of regular police presence on Coochiemudlo Island.

Your petitioners as members of the Co-ordinating Committee of Cleveland 17 Neighbourhood Watch (Coochiemudlo Island) therefore request the House to increase police presence on Coochiemudlo Island on Friday nights, weekends and holiday periods, due to increased unlawful activities at these times.
