The petition of citizens of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the recent seizure by DPI&F and RSPCA officials of 250 dogs and puppies from K & R Breeding Kennels in Wondai and the appalling conditions from which those animals were rescued.Your petitioners therefore request the House to ensure that Ruth Schloss, owner of K & R Breeding Kennels, be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and that she be banned from holding a licence to breed animals for life.
