The petition of the citizens of Atherton and surrounding districts in the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the lack of a C.T. Scanner and Ultra Sound facility at the Atherton Hospital.Your petitioners therefore request the House to urgently take action to provide appropriate staff to fully staff and maintain the equipment. This will greatly benefit Tablelanders who, will be spare the cost and inconvenience of travelling to Cairns.
