This petition of electors of the Division of Maryborough, in the locality of Curra, draws to the attention of the House that residents of Curra come under the jurisdiction of the Maryborough Police District, usually by Police officers from Tiaro, which is approximately 30 minutes from the north, whilst Gympie services are available at only 15 minutes south. Your petitioners therefore request the House to bring Curra under the jurisdiction of the Gympie Police District and not from Maryborough.
