Please also be advised that as part of the Opening of Parliament ceremony on 14 February 2018, the Australian Defence Force will fire a 19-gun salute from cannons situated in River Terrace Park at Kangaroo Point. This will occur at approximately 1.40pm on the date above and noise from this event will briefly impact on surrounding areas, including the City Botanic Gardens.
