Teaching and Learning about Parliament in the Classroom Teachers’ Workshop - GLADSTONE

A fun, hands-on professional development for primary and secondary school teachers in Gladstone and the surrounding regions will be conducted on Wednesday 5 June 2019.

You will learn:

  • About the processes of Parliament and Government and show how you can use the Parliament’s online resources in your teaching of the National Curriculum
  • About Parliamentary Committees and how to conduct a stakeholder engagement activity (parliamentary committee role play), and
  • How to conduct a preferential voting activity in the classroom.

Eligible for inclusion on continuing professional development log.
