Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the urgent need to upgrade the intersection at Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road at Belivah Road and Bannockburn Road, Bahrs Scrub with traffic lights. There is increased traffic from the new shopping centre and the new housing estate and only one road in and out of the estate (Belivah Road). There has been multiple crashes and at least one fatality.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all within its power to install traffic lights at the intersection of Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road at Belivah Road and Bannockburn Road, Bahrs Scrub and upgrade the roads leading to this intersection as a matter of urgency.
