Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the region's opposition to Epuron's Chalumbin Wind Farm Development in Ravenshoe, because it directly threatens 3089.46 acres of land bordering the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. This site is home to 200 recorded species of animals, including three endangered and vulnerable species. Destroying ecology and habitat critical to the survival of endangered species is not 'green power'. 

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to do all within its power to block the proposed wind farm development at Ravenshoe from going ahead.
