On 7 September 2011 the Legislative Assembly, on the motion of Hon Judy Spence MP, resolved:

That the One Funding for Better Services Bill be discharged from consideration by the Community Affairs Committee and be referred to the Health and Disabilities Committee.

The committee is due to report back to the Parliament by Monday 19 December 2011.

The Bill

The Bill provides for funding by government departments to non-government organisations and local governments.

The Committee held a public hearing on Wednesday 30 November 2011 in the Parliamentary Annexe, Brisbane.
