The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that extending the No Fishing area in Coombabah Creek which currently has over 60% protection, will greatly affect the way of life, recreational fishing and family outings of thousands of people. Your petitioners therefore request the House to call on the Queensland Government to abolish proposed plans to move the current no fishing boundary in Coombabah Creek. Note that we support the existing no fishing sanctuary and its boundaries.
