The Petition of residents of Queensland draws to the attention of the House an increase in noise levels from the Gateway Motorway affecting residents in Hamilton Avenue, Ure Street, Webster Avenue, Crescent Way, Pleystowe Crescent and Gadara Street, Hendra. Your petitioners therefore request the House extend the current barrier fencing along the Gateway Motorway on the western side northbound to north of Gadara Street, Hendra to alleviate noise nuisance for residents.
