Queensland Residents draws to the attention of the House the majority of the State of Queensland have stated that they want to introduce daylight savings. As a democracy, let the people have their say, through a referendum. 62,232 people voted in favour of daylight savings (petition no 553-05).
Your petitioners, therefore, call for an immediate referendum to introduce daylight savings.
