The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the unsafe state of the Moggill Road pedestrian crossing at Our Lady of the Rosary School. The area is dangerous, the set-back for vehicles is too close, the crossing is too narrow, there are too many road changes with lanes merging, driveways side streets, etc to ensure that drivers respect the crossing. Your petitioners therefore request the House to design and implement a new road design to ensure that the crossing at Our Lady of the Rosary School is safe for children to cross at and a 40km/h school zone on this stretch of Moggill Road.
