TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The Petition of the citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the house: The increasing number of crocodiles moving into areas in North Queensland near public facilities and populated areas. Your petitioners therefore request the House to: Make appropriate changes to the Queensland Crocodile Protection Plan to allow for the immediate removal of crocodiles identified near public facilities and populated areas in the interests of public safety.
