Electors of the Division of Noosa draws to the attention of the House asbestos materials contained in the roofs of six state schools in the electorate of Noosa. These asbestos materials pose a major public health threat to school children, teachers, workers and nearby residents. Your petitioners, therefore request the House to replace asbestos roofs at the Coolum, Eumundi, Tewantin, Cooroy and Pomona State Schools, as well as the Noosa District State High School, as a matter of priority.
