TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

The residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to the crucial need for safety improvements to be made to the intersection of Gympie Road and Lawley Street, Kedron. Despite the existence of a turning lane south bound on Gympie Road, residents cannot access Lawley Street as a result of the high volume of traffic travelling north bound. Lawley Street, Kedron is the only south bound access point for all streets in this precinct.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the Minister for Transport install a keep clear on the north bound section of Gympie Road adjacent to Lawley Street. Kedron. We also call on the Minister for Transport to install a No U-Turn sign on the Gympie Road south bound entrance to Lawley Street, Kedron.
