The petition of Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House that next year sees the 100th birthday of Rosewood Station, a special milestone for our community which should be celebrated.

Rosewood is an important and historical part of our state's transport network, as the western-most point of the electrified City Network as well as a twice weekly stop for the Westlander travelling between Brisbane and Charleville.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to note it is important that we recognise this anniversary and as such I am calling on Queensland Rail to refurbish our station and commemorate this birthday with the community.
