TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that our local area consists of a population of approximately 1100 people, from alpha to Jericho. Even though our nursing staff at our local hospital is without question the very best, we feel, as a community, that a full time doctor would benefit us greatly.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House that a full-time resident doctor be appointed by the Central West Hospital and Health Service with the utmost urgency.
