Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need for adequate public transport in the Pimpama region and surrounding housing estates. We have many families and elderly residents who require public transport. It is imperative for this growing region to have adequate transport to allow for employment, education, and general access to services such as medical providers. Due to Pimpama's remote location and a lack of nearby amenities residents are disadvantaged by not having adequate public transport services.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to address the need for public transport to service the Pimpama region, specifically the new housing estates.
