The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that we, the undersigned, voice our undivided support for the New Acland Coal Mine Stage 3 Project. New Acland Coal has brought employment and wealth to the district which surrounds the mine site.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to urge the Queensland State Government to do all in its power to allow the Stage 3 Project to continue to provide these enormous benefits to our community.
