Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House the outlawing of pet rabbits in Queensland is unnecessary and unfair as it is legal in every other State of Australia to keep a domestic pet rabbit.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to remove existing restrictions and allow Queensland residents to apply for a permit to keep registered, desexed and vaccinated domestic pet rabbits.
