TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the reduction in Commonwealth Health funding to the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service of $6.5 million in 2012-2013 and its effect on health services and jobs throughout the region.
Your petitioners, therefore request the House to ask the Federal Treasurer Wayne Swan to reverse this decision and reinstate funding.
