TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland Residents draws to the attention of the House: the reduction in Commonwealth health funding to Queensland Health by $103 million in 2012-13 and its effect on health services and jobs in the Townsville Hospital Health services region.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to: approach the Federal Treasurer Wayne Swan and request the reversal of this decision and reinstatement of funding.
