TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the need for the Newman Government to reverse its decision to close the Magnetic Island Active Recreation Centre. This facility has a long history of providing for camp participants and local residents.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to seek an assurance from the Government that it will not close this important facility.
