TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House for the need to maintain adequate public transport services for residents of the Somerset Region, such as those too young to drive, students, the disabled, the elderly, single parents and the unemployed, who are dependent on public transport.
Your petitioners therefore request the House to take steps to ensure that Translink Service 529 is retained and not cancelled.
