The petition of residents of Queensland draws to the attention of the House development application 11807 - Extractive Industry at 96 McCauleys Lane, Sandy Creek, Queensland 4515.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to prevent the development of this Extractive Industry at Sandy Creek, 4515 for the reasons of: potential damage to the environment by hazards of chemical contamination to wildlife and waterways upstream of Somerset and Wivenhoe dams; health hazards to residents; and use of long term farming land for extractive industry, reducing available agricultural land.
