Queensland residents draws to the attention of the House the slow progress by Queensland Rail on building a new platform, car park and bus interchange at the Ferny Grove Railway Station and finalising arrangements for the new Ferny Grove Tavern.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House that Queensland Rail takes all actions necessary as a matter of urgency to:

1.  speed up construction work at the Ferny Grove Railway Station,
2.  provide extra temporary parking for commuters during construction,
3.  provide extra temporary commuter bus services during construction; and
4.  finalise arrangements so the new Ferny Grove Tavern can be built.
