TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland

This petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House concerns about the proposed Moreton Bay Rail Link.  The petitioners are concerned about the traffic impacts around the proposed Kallangur Station and want to avoid the closure of Goodfellows Road, Clyde Street, Glencoe Street and Glendon Court.

They particularly object to the proposed ramp/road bridge over the rail line in Kallangur where Goodfellows Road is split.  The road bridge will cause problems regarding access for residents of Kallangur and surrounds.  Duffield Road residents are concerned about the impact on their amenity due to the height and proximity of the bridge/ramp over the rail line.

The petitioners strongly object to the ramp in Duffield Road and wish to see it removed from the proposed plan.  They are also concerned that there is no designated pedestrian access to the Kallangur Station on the plan.

Your petitioners therefore request the House to seek alternative solutions to the associated problems and demand further community consultation.
