This petition of the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton Regional Council residents of Queensland draws to the attention of the House to that we the people, citizens and taxpayers of Capricorn Coast and Rockhamption Regional Council area do hereby request that the Queensland State Government provide funding for an 'Adventure Water Playground' (similar to the one provided at the Townsville Strand) to be situated on the Main Beach of Yeppoon.  Such a facility is urgently needed to provide both community amenity and to assist in jobs creation by promoting our region as a tourist destination.

Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to use all political and legislative powers to cooperate with all levels of government to make this project a reality.
