To the Queensland State Parliament and the Cross River Rail Project Team: Area of concern: Cross River Rail (CRR) Study Corridor Dutton Park Station to Salisbury Station

We the undersigned residents of Yeerongpilly contend that:

  • We support the efforts of the Queensland State Government to improve public transport infrastructure in Brisbane.
  • We contend that the CRR southern portal should not be placed in Yeerongpilly due to the negative impact it would have on the social fabric, infrastructure, and landscape of our area.
  • We believe that the CRR southern portal should be located at the most southern end of the study corridor to minimise land resumptions; and
  • We support locating the CRR southern portal at Clapham rail yards as advocated by both the State Member for Yeerongpilly Simon Finn MP and Federal Member for Moreton Graham Perrett MP would also minimise land resumptions and would also be a preferred option for our communities .
