TO: The Honourable the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland
The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the closure of the Robin Street Kindergarten, Slade Point, leaving no Kindergarten in the Slade Point area after the end of 2010.
Your petitioners, therefore, request the House to fast track the funding for the Slade Point State School Kindergarten to allow Slade Point to have the facility of a Kindergarten for the commencement of the 2011 year.
