The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House concerns felt by Home Hill residents for their safety due to unlawful behaviour by members of the public. Your petitioners therefore request the House to support the Home Hill Community in their efforts towards creating a safer community by: 1. Immediately station more police officers in Home Hill sufficient for the station to be manned 24 hours per day. 2. Ensuring the enforcement of stronger laws and sufficient punishment by the Courts to defer re-offenders. 3. Providing assistance for strengthening the community’s capacity to prevent crime in their community.
