The petition of residents of the State of Queensland draws to the attention of the House the irresponsible actions of this Labor Government in sanctioning the relocation of a 3.5 metre crocodile into the high density population area of Townsville without any public consultation as part of the EPA's "Crocs in Space" program. Your petitioners therefore request the House to request this government to commit to preventing such irresponsible actions from ever happening again and to provide full compensation for businesses severely affected by this reckless decision.
