The petition of citizens of Queensland draws to the attention of the House that the Adoption of Children Act 1964 section 39 prevents adoptees from accessing their family history and their family medical history.
Your petitioners therefore requests the House to include section 39 in the current review of the Queensland’s adoption laws.
