Introduction | Far North Queensland (Cairns) | Central Queensland (Rockhampton) | North Queensland (Townsville)

The Queensland Parliament holds a sitting of Parliament in a regional area once every term (three years).

The first regional sitting was the North Queensland sitting of Parliament which was held in Townsville from 3 to 5 September 2002.

The second regional sitting, the Central Queensland Sitting of Parliament, was held in Rockhampton from 4 to 6 October 2005.
